This is unlike a regular single hose air conditioner that draws air into the condensor from the room itself. Some of this room air is then vented out of the extract hose. In doing this other warm air is drawn into the room to replace the vented air. This increases the amount of air exchanges within the room making it more difficult to lower the temperature.
